While living in the UK, I learned that Brits don't really utilize their gardens. Usually, the only thing out there is a gnome.
With this campaign we wanted to encourage Brits to make a little more of their gardens this summer. And perhaps swap out their porcelain friends for some furniture that makes the outdoor space comfortable regardless of the weather conditions.
Me and my friends wanted to engage people in the 2012 Presidential Election. It didn't take much. We put up around 50 posters and let democracy do the rest. People went nuts on Instagram and the idea was broadcasted on CNN the night before the Election. Read more about it at gumelection.com.

Target asked Mother to throw an event centered around the white shirt. We answered by putting on a fun game show in Miami, LA and Chicago. Stylists competed against each other, dressing models in head-to-toe Target while keeping the white shirt at the center of every look. The show winner was chosen by a judge panel with talent like Ikram Goldman, Vashtie Kola and Shaun White, and with votes from the audience.
I Art Directed the entire set and worked with the production company to get everything right; from the construction of the giant closet built out of pipes, to the design and placement of all signage and furniture. As the event moved between cities, I was there to make sure it adapted well to the various spaces.

LG was sponsoring Virgin Freefest and wanted Mother New York to create a phone demo, using a drawing app on the phone. But how do you make a phone demo more attractive than a performance by Jack White?
We turned our tent into a party the crowd could control. Using the drawing function on the phone, people could draw live portraits on their friends. If they'd rather have a professional artist paint on them, Shantell Martin was there to show her skills.
In the end, people stood in line for twenty minutes to get in.

I designed a dress for Leila Shams, and it ended up in her show during New York Fashion Week. The black, dip-dyed dress I designed was featured in blogs and magazines.
My friends and I also put together a video, capturing the show.

I love people and the way a portrait can capture them. These photos are of my friend Linn. Some of my portraits have been showcased in the British photo exhibition 200 Faces by The Photographic Angle.
During an internship at DDB Stockholm, my copywriter and I came up with an idea for VW's smallest car ever, that turned the car buying experience into something social.
A year after we won some student awards for this idea, Dodge Dart produced a similar campaign for their car.
